Wegovy Side Effects Explained
Wegovy (Semaglutide) is a powerful weight loss medication, but it can cause side effects. Here is everything you need to know about managing them safely.
Like all GLP-1 agonists, Wegovy affects your digestive system to help you lose weight. This mechanism means that gastrointestinal side effects are very common, especially when you first start taking the medication or increase your dose.
Good News: For most people, side effects are mild and tend to go away after a few weeks as your body gets used to the medicine.
